Dear Friends,

In the Global Vision of our movement, Centers for Spiritual Living, we read these words: “We see our communities as empowered with the realization of unity and wholeness, from which flows the ultimate healing power of forgiveness and love.”

The idea that forgiveness flows from awareness of our unity with each other is compelling. And it is compelling also to remember the benefits of forgiveness, which include healthier relationships, greater personal well-being, reduced anxiety and stress, healthier bodies, reduction of depression, and improved self-compassion.

This week I invite you to think about the awareness of unity going hand in hand with the healing power of forgiveness, and to explore ways in which you can embrace both.

Join me in affirming this week: “There is a Power for good in the Universe, and I am using it to express my unity with all life.”
