Dear Friends,
Our founder Ernest Holmes wrote in This Thing Called You, “The soul is the one triumphant, indestructible and unconquerable thing you possess. Shot from the Invisible into this experience, it constitutes your great reality.
But why wait for physical death to enjoy and experience your immortal being? Do not prepare to die. Prepare to live, whether you are ten years old or one hundred. There is no death. It is impossible for you to die. Stop trying to die and learn to live.”
As empowering as these words are, physical passing leaves a void for those of us who are left behind. For this reason, we provide an annual Remembrance Service to honor friends and family who have made their transition in the previous 12 months.
On Wednesday, December 7, at 7 pm, you are invited to join Rev. Joyce Duffala, Christopher Fritzsche, and members of our Grief and Loss Support Ministry for this beautiful service. If a loved one has passed on
since December 2015, please add their names to the Remembrance Book at the Spiritual Support Ministries table near the drinking fountains in the Social Hall. The names will be read during the service, and you may bring flowers, photographs, or other mementos to place on the community altar.
Warm Regards,
Edward Viljoen
