“A friend should be one in whose understanding and virtue we can equally confide, and whose opinion we can value at once for its justness and its sincerity.”
Robert Hall
When we own our experience of the Presence, it is a form of confession. In this way we declare or acknowledge that we are part of something larger and begin to come out of the shadows of secular life to join an ever growing company of likeminded people who share their love of life. Our confession of awe, wonder, belief and experience contributes to the beauty of the world. Every time we discover in ourselves and around us the warmth of feeling connected to all-that-is, taking time to note it and perhaps share it is a way of practicing being aware of the Presence. When last did you share with someone what is really important to you?
