Truthfulness is the practice of steadfastly speaking only that which, to the best of your knowledge, is true. It is a commitment to refrain from lying and breaking agreements.
But more than a blind adherence to facts, truthfulness goes hand in hand with a love of kindness, fairness, accuracy and humility.

Timely post...thank you. I have been engaged in this "extreme consciousness" practice now, for the last two weeks, and while it has enriched my life beyond measure, and that of my loved ones as well, it also creates small mini psychic earthquakes as paradigms shift to create more room for steadfast truth, cradled with kindness, humility and fairness. It seems when we practice Truthfulness, the authenticity in each person engaged in the giving and receiving dials up, that much higher. An amazing process. Risky. Scary. Exciting. Truthful.
ReplyDeleteI googled your quote and apparently Adolf Hitler is the original quoter ending with "..and love of the Fatherland."
ReplyDeleteObama has quoted this historical figure but ended the quote with "..and love of God and country." Interesting article exploring subject:
