The Adventure Called Life

Share it Please
Rev. Russ Legear, Assistant Minister
I am happy to report that last weekend 10 new members joined our community. In that new member orientation was Rev. Russ Legear.  Some of you will remember him from the workshop, others will remember him from his heartwarming Sunday message.  He became a member of our Center last week because he has accepted our invitation to become our Assistant Minister.

We’ve been on a search for an assistant minister ever Since Rev. Joyce Dufalla announced that she had a plan to retire.  Then the pandemic delayed our search process.  Rev. Joyce isn’t leaving our community, indeed she is quite actively supporting us. We had to wait to inform our Santa Rosa community about Rev. Russ because he had other employment and had to let his previous employer know, which he has done, and now begins the big adventure of packing up and relocating from Chicago to California.

I invite you to embrace him into our CSLSR spiritual family with the same enthusiasm and open-heartedness that he is embracing us.

I’m thinking about him packing up and relocating from the other side of the country during a pandemic.

What an adventure.

Appropriately Today’s topic is This Adventure Called Life, and the suggested theme for May for our study groups and Centers is:  Wholly Holy Uprising

· Week one - this Adventure called life

· Week two - Revolutionary Love

· Week three - This Too is God?

· Week four - say their names

· Week Five - Boldly Living a New Story

I look forward to a fascinating month of studying Science of Mind with you.

Seeing Good At Work
I have been through the book three times over three years, and am starting it again. This is not because the material in the book is not working, but because it is working so well! The weekly lessons keep me on track and focused on what is actually true and important, and help me experience more good in every area of my life. LS
