Give What You Wish To Receive More Of

Share it Please
The sun may be shining, even while we stand in a dark basement. Manna may be falling from heaven around us, but unless we notice it and gather it, it doesn’t help us. The gift without a receiver is not complete.   Not only that, but we must also learn to give what we want to have circulated in our world.

We must receive to complete the flow of circulation. To receive we must come out of the darkness in whatever way we can. Emerson tells us to get our bloated nothingness out of the way, which to me means clear my thinking of blocks to receiving.

This getting out of our own way is what Spiritual Mind Treatment (affirmative prayer) does for us, since it declares that there is nothing in us which can keep our good away. Treatment always declares the Presence of Good and tunes our awareness to the bounty of every good thing that is flowing around us. It is a conscious, active recognition of the Presence of a Power for Good in our lives that is greater than we are.

Many blessings,

Edward Viljoen

Seeing Good At Work
I have been through the book three times over three years, and am starting it again. This is not because the material in the book is not working, but because it is working so well! The weekly lessons keep me on track and focused on what is actually true and important, and help me experience more good in every area of my life. LS
