Our book of the month, Love and Law, by Ernest Holmes, is a rare collection of previously unpublished lectures and private lessons by Ernest Holmes. I selected the book because we are celebrating 99 years of the teachings of the Science of Mind, which brings us an ancient idea of the unity of all life.

This idea is not new, and can be found also in the ancient spiritual teachings of India. They called this unity the Absolute, or Brahma; and we call it The Thing Itself. They believed in one Presence and one Power, and only One in the Universe. And we do too

The idea of oneness, as relevant today as it was in ancient times, forms the basis of our Science of Mind teaching. I look forward to exploring oneness with you, and how it relates to our prayer, meditation, and success in life.

I have been through the book three times over three years, and am starting it again. This is not because the material in the book is not working, but because it is working so well! The weekly lessons keep me on track and focused on what is actually true and important, and help me experience more good in every area of my life. LS
