Spiritual Guidance, Personal Responisbility and Conscious Social Action with Edward Viljoen, author of Ordinary Goodness

Share it Please

May at the Center is all about spiritual guidance, personal responsibility, and conscious social action. What a wonderful focus for this month leading up to our Presidential Primary Election on June 7 and our voter registration deadline of May 23. The idea in our month’s focus is that spiritual guidance is available for all if we would just take the time to access it. And that spiritual wisdom is available for all areas of life, even for how we exercise the privilege of participating in our nation’s elections.

Each person must participate and vote in a way that matches their values, and when each person takes the time to consult with the wisdom that is within them, we can be sure that each will make a right choice. It is when we don’t pay attention to the available spiritual guidance that concerns arise. Using the spiritual tools of meditation, contemplation, affirmation, spiritual study, selfless service, and gratitude, we can navigate through the fast paced, information dense weeks that are ahead of us with a sense of poise and inner peace.

Join me in affirming this month, “We see a world in which spiritual guidance is valued and where we are called to conscious social action.” Every week I invite you to join me with this process of affirming an idea and posting it on the social media of your choice. If you have done so, I would love to hear from you about the results. You can e-mail me at edward@cslsr.org.

Don’t forget to tag your affirmation with the tags #TheGlobalVision and #AWorldThatWorksForEveryone.

Warm regards,
Edward Viljoen

Seeing Good At Work
I have been through the book three times over three years, and am starting it again. This is not because the material in the book is not working, but because it is working so well! The weekly lessons keep me on track and focused on what is actually true and important, and help me experience more good in every area of my life. LS
